Preparing to Publish
When you initially contact us, please have the following information available:
- Total word count of your manuscript
- Level of editing you are requesting
- Brief synopsis of your book
- Target audience for your book
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word, double-spaced, typed in 12 pt. Times New Roman or Courier font, with 1.25" side margins.
We will ask for a sample of your project. We will edit two to three pages of your manuscript to give you an idea of the approach we would take in editing your book and return it to you with our impressions and a fee quote based on the level of service that seems the best fit.
We will e-mail you a simple contract that you can accept and return by e-mail or fax.
Word count charges will be based on a Microsoft Word word count of either the original manuscript or the edited one, whichever word count is higher.
Payment Policy
Payment may be made by check or money order (payable in US funds) or through PayPal. They accept bank transfers and debit/credit cards. You don't have to have a PayPal account to use their services. Generally for projects totaling $100 or less, one half is due with the contract and the balance on completion. For projects totaling more than $100, we can arrange a payment plan.
Turn-Around Time

We strive to give you a quick turn-around time while maintaining quality. A typical 200-page (around 50,000 words) manuscript will take us about two weeks. We will give you frequent status reports to let you know where we are in the process, so you're not left wondering.
You may return the completed project one time within seven days of receipt for revisions at no extra charge. We take pride in our policy of seeing that all of our clients are satisfied with the end results.
Competitive Pricing
We strive not only to provide the best service, but also the best prices in the industry. We pledge to do our best to meet or beat any other professionals' rate for similar services. If you receive a higher quote from us and are interested in working with us, please let us know. Also know that a typical page when it comes to pricing consists of 250 words. If you want us to charge you by the page instead of the word, let us know and we will be happy to do so. We want to serve you.
